    FormShield requirements

Okay. I have been tryung for the past two hours to get FormShield v2 to work.

I am using Visual Studio 2005. I have the control in the toolbox. I have referenced the same dll in the project. So I can successfully drag the control from the toolbox to the design surface and compile and even view the page. BUT, no image.

I've clicked on the Add SecretKey and Add HttpHandler links on the design surface and verified that the entries were in fact there.

     Still no image displays.

So I right click on the image, look at the properties, copy and paste the address in a new browser window and guess what. The page that is supposed to render the image does not exist.

What gives? From all of the posts I was under the impression that I would just have to download the dll, get the control into the toolbox and then drag & drop clickety click and viola! Now it seems the one essential part is missing.

     Or maybe I'm missing something.

Please help. This is driving me nuts!

    Answer

    AHA! Fixed it...

Here's how: I am running Vista and thus IIS 7. Turns out the website was set up to use the default application pool. I changed this to the classic .net app pool and bingo! No more nuts.

All I need now is the Dalek voice files.... EXTERMINATE!!!

     Cool control. Love it.
